[suse-kde] Non-MIME messages with kmail?
Hi list Is it possible to send non-mime-messages with kmail? Haven't found any way so far... :-( Kind regards Markus -- Cash value of this tagline: 1/20 of 1 cent.

Hi Markus! IMHO you did sent one right now. But that's so trivial, I think I missunderstood you... Perhaps you think of sending 8 bit characters without mime conversion? Then you have to go to "preferences -> network -> outgoing servers" or similar. Greets, Daniel

Nah, I didnt'. See the message-headers:
User-Agent: KMail/1.5.2 References: <200305191535.27396.kohli@webdeko.com> In-Reply-To: <200305191535.27396.kohli@webdeko.com> MIME-Version: 1.0
This is from your message, but it's the same with mine. See, MIME-Version?... Problem is: My boss doesn't use anything but elm. And elm gets really naughty if you send it anything but plain, old ascii, withouth any decoration... But maybe I'm getting it wrong? Any help appreciated P.S: Hey, what the hell? You have KMail 1.5.2 ? Is that from KDE 3.1.2? -- Readers beware: I don't know what I'm saying.

yes, that's from the "Quoted Printable" MIME character conversation for high ascii chars. (german umlauts and so on).

What about my hint to preferences, outgoing servers?
