Hi, I can login by any other user login (other than root) through login screen. There is no problem in that regard. Only problem is with root login through login screen.

Hi there: You should you .xinitrc on /root so you can login as root. Hope it works.

Hi, should i add anything to .xinitrc ? Its already in /root but its blank. Plz tell me clearly as I am novice as far X windows system is concerned.
