Two days ago I've been on the LinuxWorld fair in Frankfurt and met the author of KNotes. He said it was a bug and it's fixed in KDE 3.0.4 - I think it really is (started 3.0.4 here once and it seemed fine, but I can't confirm currently). I also saw some very nice extensions he made for the version that'll ship with KDE 3.1 and afterwards. I also did some feature requests. HTH Jens P.S.: Damn ML.
