[opensuse-kde] Systemsettings, storage devices

Using: Leap 42.2 In the kde-systemsettings is a nice module named 'Storage devices'. Is this module separate usable ? If yes, how should I adress this module in a icon on the desktop ? Thans, Hans
It may have changed a bit in Plasma5, but here in KDE4 on oS 13.1 I can enter settings:/ in the location bar of Dolphin (in Editable location mode, not breadcrumb) and get my System Settings modules. I don't see a 'Storage devices', but there is 'Removable Devices' (two entries in fact, one of which appears to be dud). If I open another tab in Dolphin, browse to my Desktop folder, then drag this Removable Devices icon onto the tab for the Desktop folder, and drop inside the window, I get the menu prompt from which I can choose 'Link here'. I then tried accessing this direct from the desktop and it works. There may be a more direct way of going about this. gumb -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Figure out the name of the systemsettings module with 'kcmshell5 --list' Create a .desktop file on the desktop that runs 'kcmshell5 <name-of-storage- devices-kcm>' -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
