When you UG'd did you lose kdebase-suse? If you did lose it, do you notice anything different?? ================ Adolph, The thing about updating now is you will have it running smoothly by the time the full release will be out. There are several changes and getting your first looks may surprise you. The update went well for me, but not without working around some things that had changed. It's a very nice update and the KDE guys have done some good work. I say go for it, get use to it and enjoy it now! If you are running a stock setup, pretty much, you should not experience some of the things I did. You will have to remove a couple of files installed now, like kdebase3-SuSE & kdenetwork3-devel, but the devel is apparently not needed now and the other is just SuSE related eye candy. You will probably have to put your icons back on your desktop, so if you want to save those, copy them to another directory to retrieve later. I was amazed at how much was incorporated into that and the SuSEwatcher, etc. You won't miss them though. ;o) Lee Oh, and KOffice files would not work with the new 3.2 either. Not that I was using them, but they were handy for some things. You will have to remove KOffice, unless someone knows something I don't to get them to work. -- --- KMail v1.5.94 --- SuSE Linux Pro v9.0 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...
