[opensuse-kde] usb sound card
I just applied the usb sound card. It shows in yast but no streaming music is heard. I have chosen it at the default. Nothing shows up in the mixer or its setup. Any hints on what to do next. The box said it works with any Linux distro. -- Bob Rea www.petard.us www.petard.us/blog America, it was a wonderful country Til they took it private and made it a theme park of itself -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

I'm not sure if what's set in YaST is necessarily taken as default in PulseAudio or whatever sound server/system you're using. What version of openSUSE / Plasma? Depending on the above, right-click on the KMix icon in the system tray and select Audio Setup. Or instead go to System Settings -> Multimedia -> Audio and Video Settings. Is your USB device visible (even if greyed out) in the device list on the right under each or any category? gumb -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
