KDE 3.5.2 Control Center Admin Mode Broken?
Hi, Since I've upgraded to KDE 3.5.2, any attempt to activate Administrator mode in a KDE Control Center (not the YaST Control Center) module fails, taking me back to the Control Center's initial page. I'm running on SuSE 10 with KDE 3.5.2 via the Supplementary YaST repository. Has anybody else seen this or heard of it? Does anyone know if there's a fix or work-around? Thanks. Randall Schulz

I think you've found a bug.
I'm running on SuSE 10 with KDE 3.5.2 via the Supplementary YaST repository.

Did someone open a bug for this already? I can't find one on the tracker... The reason I ask is that this behaviour has found it's way into Beta9 also. Regards, Graham

RE Thread topic... I was actually referring to the bug where trying to go into admin mode in the KDE control centre drops back to the main page. This, i believe, was originally reported for KDE 3.5.2 on 10.0 and as i've said it exists in 10.1 also. G
