[opensuse-kde] kdm 4.2.4-3.5 crashing on login

Hello- I am using the latest packages from the KDE 4.2 buildservice repos. When I last updated, KDM stopped working. I can log in to KDE and IceWM with XDM, but neither on with KDM. I can send log files and such as necessary if someone can please help me fix the problem. Thank You, Matt -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

No suggestions at all? :-( I've tried reinstalling all of the packages and everything and I can't find any output that would suggest an issue. Pulseaudio won't work now either so my sound is all messed up. if kdm does not start at all,y ou should find information in /var/log/kdm.log or in /var/log/Xorg.0.log pulseaudio is probably another herd of an unrelated problem. pulseaudio is probably another herd of an unrelated problem.
Greetings, Dirk
Could there be an issue with PolicyKit? I'm also having what I think are unrelated issues with mounting media. Thank you, Matt -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
