[opensuse-kde] KDE:Qt5 repositories broken AGAIN

Like many times before someone has turned off publishing in KDE:Qt5 but left "useforbuild"on, so right now pretty much every repo that builds using Qt5 is broken by means of unfilled dependencies. -- Mathias Homann Senior Systems Engineer, IT Consultant. Uhm.. how we're supposed to build things against the new version if we don't set useforbuild? For the record, publishing is disabled on all repos that depend on KDE:Qt5, so this might have been just a temporary fluke. If you instead mean repositories that are outside the KDE: hierarchy but depend on KDE:Qt5, those aren't handled by the KDE team. -- Luca Beltrame - KDE Forums team GPG key ID: A29D259B

valid point.

of course they aren't, but did anyone TELL anyone else about this beforehand so that any other repo could also turn off publishing? Definitely not here on this list. You realize we're doing the same thing *each* time we're pushing an update. Our maintenance workflow doesn't really deserves a message unless the changes have a direct incidence (new/deleted repositories, migration...). If you can't deal with it, I strongly recommend not depending on KDE:Qt5 for your own projects. You can safely use the distribution channels. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
