Not if you use zypper dup -r <repo-name> If you have used the package switcher lastly on Packman http://tinyurl.com/yejwull
Having previously done it on the kde factory repo
zypper up will actually update everything and will honour the switch settings

I have noticed that every time I use zypper dup to update KDE, libxine1-codecs and k3b-codecs get removed.
Is it possible to modify the package manager so that it backups up libxine1-codecs and k3b-codecs, update KDE and then reinstall the codecs back automatically.
Can this be accomplished?
Cheers!

I used zypper dup only. Roman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
