[opensuse-kde] high memory usage with 4.4.2

Hi, I just upgraded my main desktop witn 11.2 to kde-4.4.2 from 4.3.*. All fine but for me kde is using too much memory compared to the previous version. Free ouput in runlevel 5 with kdm waiting for password: total used free buffers cached Mem: 1017956 512764 505192 43040 356564 -/+ buffers/cache: 113160 904796 Swap: 522072 0 522072 This with kde just started (plain kde with yakuake, preloaded konqueror instance and system loader viewer plasmoid in the panel): total used free buffers cached Mem: 1017956 801268 216688 45892 519256 -/+ buffers/cache: 236120 781836 Swap: 522072 0 522072 Now with kmail running: total used free buffers cached Mem: 1017956 903748 114208 47904 528900 -/+ buffers/cache: 326944 691012 Swap: 522072 0 522072 IMHO, too much. There are at the least 200MB more respect 4.3.* Are factory packages compiled with some sort of debug flags ? <snip top output that is about as useful as 'I feel full'/>

And you're asking this question here, where we do memory statistics properly? Read this, install exmap and get us some proper numbers. http://www.kdedevelopers.org/node/4166 My guess: it's virtuoso-db and akonadi's mysql. <snip top output that is about as useful as 'I feel full'/> Sure but look this: total used free buffers cached Mem: 1984912 461616 1523296 34760 293436 -/+ buffers/cache: 133420 1851492 Swap: 2618552 0 2618552
My nootebook, with kde-4.3.4 no yakuake but with knetworkmanager and battery applet. So, memory usage with only kde: used: 461616 -> 801268 cahed: 293436 -> 519256 Both 11.2 32bit with all updates..

But akonadi starts with kmail (I see small window with 'Starting akonadi server', so no akonadi in kdm... Ok, installed exmap. Is there a way to save data ? What I have to looking for ? Do you want to see screenhots ? Side note: Nepomuk disabled in system setting, so why nepomukserver is running ?
