Listviews in konqueror.

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 After upgrading to 3.1 I lost the muticoloured list when in "detailed view" in konqueror file manager mode. You know when one line is white and the next is blue. Well, ive looked all over the place and deleted ~/.kde/share/config/konquerorrc but various editings of this file didn't help either. Ive even grepped the source code to tryt and find something useful, but Ive not had any luck. If anyone can get this to work could they please post their ~/.kde/share/config/konq* files, excluding konq_history Note that some of the files may contain private stuff in the form of RecentFiles lists, and you might want to give them a quick once over. I imagine everyhing I might need would be in the [settings] section of konquerorrc since thats where BgColor and Background settings are stored. --====================== Richard, Try this: Preferences>Look&Feel>Colors Then I believe it is the last in the list about Alternate Backgrounds or something like that. It gives you the computer paper like look in Kmail. Don't know if it shows up elsewhere or not. You lucky devil! I never had that to lose! Seriously over the last couple of years using KDE I have noticed funny things happen with backgrounds. Sometimes KFM has a nice background made of tightly packed blue stripes. Lose it and I can't find how to get it back. Maybe your problem is related. Jethro
