Nope.. I am not getting those at all. Actually my KDE 4 Beta 4 runs pretty good ( I don't have Amarok installed though, just purely KDE 4 packages, and no non KDE Apps as of yet.. ). Mine is up and running good, although the "New Device Notified" plasmoid just adds another "Lock/Logout" Plasmoid. And after adding a Application Luancher plasmoid I cannot remove it from the desktop. Doh!. My right click works, my launcher is faster and kwrite is good finally. No. which graphics card are you using? this looks like the nividia binary driver issue. try forcefully disabling the composite extension in kwin. then you should get a normal desktop again. Ati 9550. The flash movies in firefox are OK. The apps work ok, that is not the problem, its the desktop itself..

FWIW, we usually use the word "performance" in relation to the speed of a piece of software. And I don't want to deny your experience, but you are probably perceiving more bugs because you're spending more time using KDE4, which is rapidly getting usable and fixing bugs. Just keep watching, and you will see as we head into the RC phase that the number of bugs you perceive will seem to flatten out and then reduce, but remember, this is a "dot zero" release and will have rough edges and missing features compared to KDE 3.5.8. Me personaly like to use this 'beautifull' word in a more 'broad' context, not only speed. More like 'act' the 'performance'....but no offense..

Oh, don't misinterpret me: I loved it from the start... The speed is tremendous, how fast the apps start, realy 'cool'.. The flash-movies are razorsharp, and move very smooth...
