[opensuse-kde] KDE ideas for 11.2 feedback
Hi list, I just had a look at the KDE ideas for 11.2, at http://en.opensuse.org/KDE/Ideas/11.2 and I think it might be better to keep a few more KDE3 modules. For example, the LaTeX editor kile relies on having the kdegraphics-pdf package for pdf previewing. It's probably a bit early to worry about stuff like that (maybe we'll have a KDE4 kile at that point anyway), but I imagine many old KDE3 applications will need some more libraries than currently suggested. This is probably not the right place, but I believe many SuSE people are also KDE developers, so I'd like to thank you for the work on KDE4 - it must have been a difficult decision to make such drastic changes from KDE3, but I think it was absolutely worth it. KDE4 looks quite good here on openSuSE 11.1. Thanks, Henning -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Sure it won't work if patched to use okular? How kpdf specific can it be? Sorry, don't know kile. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
