What is a good podcasting client for SuSE/KDE? I've tried iPodder but can't get it to install. I can't find the python libs it needs. I've tried jPodder, but I can't get it to read the feeds I want (they work in iPodder on WinXP). Any recommendations? -- !++ ! Lennart Börjeson ! Partner, Developer ! I think amarok might work. But I never used podcasts, so I do not know if it is usable. OJ -- Add these things up, and they may just present an OS that's a little more fun to use. For Windows, come on, that's saying a lot. (computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic&articleId=9001435&pageNumber=4)

I use CastPodder (nee iPodder). It's a decent program (written in Python), though it perhaps lacks some polish. It integrates with the system tray, but does not register itself with whatever part of KDE preserves one's application environment across login sessions (thus you must start it manually in each login session). Besides that, the only real shortcoming it has is its inability to remember the GUI customizations I put into place, namely column width adjustments. Check it out: http://www.castpodder.net/

Thanks to all who've answered. I went for amarok, which worked well with my feeds. -- !++ ! Lennart Börjeson ! Partner, Developer ! Cinnober Financial Technology AB ! Industrigatan 2A !
