[opensuse-kde] an openSUSE booth @ Akademy 2014 / Brno
Dear kde'rs ... I'm planning to organize a booth during Akademy at Brno (if akademy team give their green light). With the help of our now famous booth boxes, I should have tons of stuff to spread there. Who will be going there, want to help a bit on the booth (Sat, Sun) mostly ? I'm also looking for KDE Framework 5 demo and or iso to burn on the usb sticks Who can help to create it ? Some other demos like : package your kde stuff on obs awesomeness the green geeko could offer to you etc ... -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member & Board GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot ~~~Don't take Life too serious. Ping back to the list, I'm still in the process to organize the booth. But I wouldn't have to staff it all the days alone. Any helpers around ? -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member & Board GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot ~~~Don't take Life too serious. Hi Bruno, As far as I know Konsole has already been ported :) At least it is available in the KDE:Unstable:Frameworks repository as konsole5 :) But I am not sure what that image contains. I've now submitted a Plasma 5 pattern (+ KDELibs 4 applications) which should provide a bit better experience than only a panel with a wallpaper :P Cheers, Hrvoje

Hi guys continue like this ... will be certainly a bit sport to have it ready for Akademy. The first part will start today, make factory actual install a success on the mac book pro retina ... Once done, adding whatever repository to get last/best experience with K 5x suites will be easier. Once things more. To be useful at Akademy I would like to concentrate what we present on the booth on what openSUSE project has the best to offer to c++/qt kde dev ... For global project I've already things. Having a list of useful link to (direct) wiki page of interest around kde inside openSUSE would be a nice. Can someone forward to me such a list ? What other things would you like to see or give to attendees to make them contributors on obs? -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member & Board GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot ~~~ ~~~
Sorry for stealing the thread, but will anyone be able to bring me big black cloth with green openSUSE logo on it, to put in my cubicle to show my real allegiance? On Sunday 17 August 2014 14:36:15 Bruno Friedmann wrote:
