Online update broke more than fonts.
I'm really annoyed at the effects online update has had. Its broken the default keyboard mapping I had in place (Dvorak) and I can now only set it through look & feel (it defaults back to US now on boot up, where before the update it stayed at Dvorak as set in Yast). The fonts are really &&^%**&^ (although I guess I can wait until KDE 3.1 to fix that as it should be out soon). Pretty poor show in my opinion (but other than than, I love SUSE :) ). Peter.
To fix your fonts, see this URL, be forewarned, however, that it makes them really ugly if they are not anti-aliased. But if they are anti-aliased, it looks absolutely great. http://www.cs.mcgill.ca/~dchest/xfthack/ On Wednesday 13 November 2002 02:00 am, Peter Nunn wrote:
