[opensuse-kde] Why was the application menu bar been removed from the applications style in plasma 5?
Hi all, What happened to the application menu bar that was found on Applications Style ->Fine Tuning tab? We used to be to have a behaviour similar to OS X. -- Cheers! If you are referring to Tw, it's still there..... if not, you need be more specific rather than leave us guessing...

have *absolutely* no idea to what you refer. Is there an "OS X" theme for openSUSE? ps: in the bottom of the second six-pack so judgement may not be razor sharpe. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

In kde4 - on the Fine Tuning tab there is a Menubar style dropdown list that allows the user to reassign the "Menubar style". When you click on the dropdown list it provides a selection: An application Title bar button Top screen menubar Only export I've attached a screenshot. Roman

Here's another screenshot. Notice the black menu bar at the top.

If you mean the global menubar, it needs changes in libdbusmenu-qt5 first to ever get implemented. And IIRC it's difficult to get these changes in. -- Luca Beltrame - KDE Forums team GPG key ID: A29D259B

Sounds like a maybe for Plasma 5.8? I'm also trying to get qtcurve-qt5 fixed for openSUSE 42.2. It's a slow process. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

The guy, who developed it for Plasma 4, migrated to Gnome 3 and told no one on the sysadmins about that. He's still the default assignee for that feature in bugs.kde.org but he no longer reads those mails or cares at all. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
