Hi Per, You can switch the Browser Identification to Mozilla 1.7.3. After you did that a screen will be loaded where you can switch to standard view. In addition you might want to send an email to the developers asking to not exclude Konqueror. Cheers, -- Sabine

Yes, but you have to "fool" gmail into believing that it's not Konqueror (khtml) but Firefox: Go to Settings > Configure Konqueror > Browser Identification, then set the domain mail.google.com (or whatever domain gmail is using in your country while you're in the inbox view) to use Firefox 1.0 (I'm on opensuse 10.0 with KDE 3.5.1, by the way). That should make konqueror work with gmail's standard view with a minor "glitch" with the rendering that makes the messages subject (and brief content) text overlap with the message's date in the list of messages. I don't think it's konqueror's fault, though. Setting konqueror to use Safari 1.2.4 identification for gmail should "fix" the rendering, but _none_ of the links work for me, by the way, even though gmail claims to have support for safari. (Am I missing something here, guys? Or gmail meant support for 'basic HTML' view in Safari? (Anyway, I'm happy with Kmail with my gmail account (except when adding googlegroups to the equation)).)
