[opensuse-kde] Can't Ctrl C and Ctrl V to copy and paste from Konqueror?
I've been using Kaggregator in KDE-PIM, which uses Konqueror as the browser to go to links from Kaggregator. Unfortunately, Konqueror no longer seems to be able to Copy highlighted material with Ctrl C, and then to write it with Ctrl V, the way we've done it for ever. Is this a setting I've missed? Or is this a new "feature" in Konqueror? There were some changes to Klipper. Iirc it copies stuff to the clipboard as soon as it's selected by default in 4.4. Can produce some funny results, maybe check the settings. Not sure that's your problem though. Otherwise I can only say works for me. Select text in konq -> press ctrl+c -> paste in kwrite with ctrl+v works without problems. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Btw. another possible reason to check for. Since upgrading to 4.4 I've been having severe problems with window focus. Most of the time when I open a window via systray it won't get focus - and often when I close a window, the window beneath it doesn't automatically get focus. With either no - or the wrong - window having focus, keyboard shortcuts produce quite strange results, if any. Does copy/paste work for you using the mouse? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
