Dolphin 4.7 never had this problem.
For me it did. And not only dolphin. Even the file picker, i.e. where you pick a file to open or save does not show files added recently – although it was opened after they were created.
Yep, that's pretty much the experience I had with 4.7, dolphin, file pickers etc always had to be manually refreshed or re-opened. I do not see this with 4.8, for me in 4.8 dolphin refreshes very snappily.
