That doesn't help when nouveau crash the
kernel module :-)
What does "nouveau crash the kernel module" mean? Modesetting only works
if the Xorg nouveau driver is blocked or uninstalled or your gfxcard's
driver is controlled via /etc/X11/xorg_pci_ids/.
Did you find or file an openSUSE or upstream bug about it?
I have found a bug
report on the issues with the NVidia driver -
Never found anything useful in my logs when the nouveau locked up. Just
