kde-console: swiss-german keyboard

dear kde-gurus, what config file (/etc/sysconfig/keyboard ???) should i customize for my swiss-german keyboard to work correctly in the kde-console (x-terminal, kde-console 1.1.3, kde 3.0.3). actually there is a value YAST-Keyboard="german,pc104" this does not reflect all keys correct. any ideas ?? thanx alot bert ps: suse 8.1
