Following along on this and since I don't yet
have a dual layer DVD
burner, what procedure do you guys follow to burn? Do you do a direct
disc to disc copy or iso image then burn? I would think the ISO image
then burn from the hard drive would be the most efficient. Some folks
locally have had some trouble, so while these dual layer DVD discs are
still quite expensive, not making coasters of them does interest
The problem with them is STILL not all discs are made correctly......Fuji seem
to be some of the best at this point that work well in most drives. AVOID the
cheap brands and in particular no-name brands!! Also, AVOID cheap drives!
Plextor would be my choice. I was able to create an ISO image of my 9.3 DVD
and burn a copy with no problem with a Fuji DVD +R DL disk.
