Hi,
After update my SuSE 9.1 to KDE (via YOU) the application launcher (Alt+F2) is oppening stil on the same workspace. When i invoke it from on example first workspace, then cancel, switch to thrird and invoke it again - it appears on the first workspace. It appearas allways on this workspace, where the first invoke was made.
SuSE 9.1, kde3.3 update not via YOU, but manually (download all and rpm -Uvh *.rpm, after installing all dependencies first), and yes, I can reproduce it. Alt-F2 switches back to the desktop where I called it first. - but not at the first Alt-F2. First the applauncher gets started on the desktop where I called it first. At the second Alt-F2 only, it switches the desktop to the desktop where I called applauncher first and shows the app launcher there. - At the same time *all* desktops show the same background of the desktop, where I started the app launcher the first time. - It is not necessary to actually launch any app, it is enough to call the app launcher and cancel it then again. This is indeed weird. Regards, Matt PS. That's the *only* hickup I see with kde3.3 so far. In general it feels more snappy, and appears to be faster. Another big step forward!
Volks from de.comp.os.unix.apps.kde with another distros could not reproduce this problem. Could someone of you try to reproduce this problem.
Ciao, Raphael
