This is the standard kind of lumpy porridge you have to expect from KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop - at least we've identified the risk and we will make sure that the upgrade from 11.1 to 11.2 works smoothly. I've talked with Plasma devs about making Plasma fall back to the default 'desktop' plugin if the configured desktop plugin fails to load too.
