On one of these you have the option of allways ignoring it in the future. Do this, and you will not be bothered by more than one. I think it is called "do nothing" or something like that . If you do this with the one handled by suse, you can change it's behaviour later by right-cliking an icon on the taskbar (do not remember which unfortunatly), or (at least in 10.1) you can change it in yast somewhere. Sorry I can not be more precise, but I have not got my own computer in front of me. On 7/31/06, Sven Burmeister < sven.burmeister@gmx.net> wrote:

this kde media notifier daemon really gets on my nerves.
Wrongly configured?
I'm running 10.0 + build tree kde here, and every time i insert an optical media, or connect an external storage like usb stick or usb harddick, i get BOTH the kde notifier asking me how i want to hable the insertion of an unmounted removable media, AND a konqueror window with the contents of it. looks like subfs / hald automounting is confusing it.
There is suseplugger, which apparently was configured to open the device and seperate from that there is the KDE-media-daemon, which tells you about the new device. So you can disable both or just one of them and you should be fine.
