That doesn't help when nouveau crash the kernel
What does "nouveau crash the kernel module" mean? Modesetting only works if the
Xorg nouveau driver is blocked or uninstalled or your gfxcard's driver is
controlled via /etc/X11/xorg_pci_ids/.
Did you find or file an openSUSE or upstream bug about it?
