This isn't exactly KDE related but it sort of is.
I don't have a broadband connection yet, so I can't feasibly download 8.0 Could someone provide me a link to a Web site which has the download edition's CDs (i.e. no tech support or commercial apps) ready for shipping at a low price? I usually go to linuxcentral.com because they've got low prices. However, they don't seem to have it. Can anyone else direct me to another Web site?
Wow, you mean Linux Central sold out of their stock? That is where I get mine as well, but I ordered the day they got it in stock. I have heard of some ordering it from Amazon.com & I believe BestBuy.com have it listed, but I have heard also that Best Buy or Circuit City will not be carrying any linux distros anymore? Good Luck on your Quest!
I bought my 8.0 from BestBuy off the shelf last week for $79.95 and they ran an add Monday for $69.95. I got $10 + tax returned already. BestBuy in Avon, Indiana, had probably 20 Personal & 20 Professional on the shelf and this is a smaller satilite store. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org
