[opensuse-kde] Can't Ctrl C and Ctrl V to copy and paste from Konqueror?

I've been using Kaggregator in KDE-PIM, which uses Konqueror as the browser to go to links from Kaggregator. Unfortunately, Konqueror no longer seems to be able to Copy highlighted material with Ctrl C, and then to write it with Ctrl V, the way we've done it for ever. Is this a setting I've missed? Or is this a new "feature" in Konqueror?
