[opensuse-kde] UpdatedApps for 11.3

Hey! I tried to install digikam 1.9 from the UpdatedApps repo on a 11.3. It complains about digikam-lang 1.2.0 needing digikam 1.2.0, so one has to remove it. After doing so it installs but fails to start because of symbol lookup errors. I'd assume that if any dependencies were not met it would complain. Having a look at the repo there are quite some packages that fail, digikam among them. Since UpdatedApps is part of the list of repos that can be added via YaST, i.e. semi-official, would it please be possible to fix it? I guess that the digikam package lacks a dependency to digikam-sharedlibs for example. [opensuse-kde] deactivating Akonadi POP3 ressources

Hello, I am about to switch to Thunderbird, I am sick and tired of the KMail2/AKonadi issues. But, I do not want to delete the Akonadi POP3 accounts, I may use KMail again at a later point. Can I somehow just disable email fetching in these Akonadi ressources? Or do I really need to delete them? Hi all. It would be cool if we could make use of the default Oxygen Air panel background instead of the striped one. To make this happen we just need to remove the file panel-background.svgz from the kdebase4-runtime-branding-openSUSE package. [opensuse-kde] Desktop Folder for 12.1

Hi all. I noticed that the desktop folder plasma widget is no longer shown by default in the beta. Is there a reason for that decision, as we from the artwork team especially designed the wallpaper to leave space for the widget in the top left position. Besides that I think showing the desktop folder is useful, as it contains links to interesting docs and applications. Hi, Over the last months / years, some packages have been abandoned in KDE:Unstable:Playground. The direct consequence is that repositories take longer to get published. During the last 6 months, I've taken over the maintenance of around 60 packages in this repositories but there are some I simply don't want or cannot maintain. As a consequence, the repository will be cleared soon if no action is taken for the following packages. I have isolated 4 categories : - Obsolete svn/git snapshots or versions - Dead projects (no news from upstream of features now included in the KDE SC modules) - Candidates for KDE:Extra. This one means the package in KUP doesn't enter in the "Unstable" category, - Unknown status, for packages in the repo for apparently no reason. If you're the maintainer of one of the following packages, please take the appropriate action. The repository cleanup with begin in 7-10 days. - Living packages but obsolete in K:U:P: * gluon (last update: 5 months ago) * kdegames4-extra (last update: 8 months ago) * scribus-unstable (last update: 8 months ago) - Seemingly dead projects: * kitchensync, * krecipes (no news since 2.0-beta2 in november), * nepomuk-playground-backupsync, * plasmate (0.1alpha2 package from 18 months ago), * print-manager (probably useless in KDE >4.6) * plasmaconfig2 (is it useful for anything?) * tristan - Candidates for KDE:Extra: * kparts-plugin * kssh * ktikz * marave * plasmoid-gmailnotifier (last update: 13 months ago) * plasmoid-yasp-scripted * plasmoid-yawp * psi * qxv * simon - Unknown status: * libopensync-plugin-kdepim * libopensync-plugin-akonadi

Hello, I write Bugreports usw. is this really not possible to correct the spec file, that the ./config/trolltech.conf go to a correct place and is not also in /root?
