unable to compile, kdelibs

i have just switched to 3.1.95 and got this problem : when i try to compile a program and at configure i get this error : checking if UIC has KDE plugins available... no configure: error: you need to install kdelibs first. btw : i have kdelibs and kdelibs-devel installed and when i was using 3.1.4 i didn't have this problem please help

Will Plastik theme from KDE-Look cause problems?

Hi there I am writing a book about KDE/Linux (in academia) and now need to make some screenshots. I am concidering using Plastik as the theme for the book, but I can't wait for KDE 3.2 to come out (when is that going to happen, by the way?). kmail problem

Hi Problem now solved and sanity regained thanks to Uwe and Al. I found a couple of mailing apps, uninstalled them and kmail is now working as it should. Thanks again Ian
