Hello world, It is surprising that writing: sudo echo "Hello World" | wall↵ in a Konsole window, does nothing appear in any Konsole window nor open a KDE3 warning dialogue (as I've seen before), but if there is an open xterm window, it works as expected, as well as in console (Ctrl+Alt+Fx) when someone is logged in it... I also hear a "beep" thank you to my new big "BIOS" speaker! If this can be usefull to a maintaining developper... Fonts used on the vttys are rather generic, having nothing specifically to do with KDE3. I suggest if you cannot find a solution searching online docs that you pose the question in a less specific forum, opensuse or maybe one where there would likely be more users than here of fr_US.UTF-8. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
