[opensuse-kde3] flash 2.2
has anybody noticed a blue tint in some flash videos? mainly u-tube links. The tint goes away by reverting to a 10.1 version. The os is suse 12.1 x86-64, latest kde3 updates, nvidia driver is 290.10_k3.1.0_1.2-12.1 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org

The last time I saw such a situation was with my digital camera's video option. I found that the video Lighting setting was 'tungsten', so it was adding a blue tint to compensate for the blue deficiency with tungsten lighting. Changhing it to 'daylight' got rid of the blue tint. -- /\/\aurice -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org
There's was a thread about this in openSUSE factory. tl;dr: flash failed by reversing blue/red on nvidia drivers. On Mon, Apr 16, 2012 at 18:27, kanenas <kanenas@hawaii.rr.com> wrote:

so, has anything been identified as a solution? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org

IIRC If you have hardware acceleration, shut it off, or downgrade flash (but be exposed security-wise) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org
