Here is the error I get on start:

00:27 alchemy:~> compiz --replace --sm-disable --indirect-rendering --ignore-desktop-hints ccp & [1] 28919 07:28 alchemy:~> compiz (core) - Error: Couldn't load plugin 'ccp'

Makes sense since all the plugins are missing from the install. I'll google around a bit more. If anyone has this working, please chime in.

Works well for me.

ccp is compizconfig-settings-manager. Install it of version 0.8.4 and libcompizconfig of version 0.8.8 from home:Herbster0815 repository. http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Herbster0815/openSUSE_11.4
