Hi, guys. I am posting in regards of KDE3 support in openSUSE.
I have been recently using Windows operating system exclusively and have no plans to move to Linux in foreseeable future. As such I do not have enough time and means to properly maintain KDE:KDE3 for now.
David Sterba has pointed out recently that he has some interest in keeping KDE3 packages on track, and if anybody else is interested to step forward, you are welcome.
And I still do, I have a few kde3 users including myself without intentions to move to other desktop environments. Given the age of kde3 there are going to be build breakages, sometimes not easy to fix. An example is kde3-celestia that was removed from factory due to that. I'll review and accept SR that fixes builds and will try to review the build status of kde3, but this has low priority for me. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org
