Just to let everyone know that, as I previously advised, I did a new install of 11.4_x86/K3 for my production machine about 10 days ago. My normal method of install, but I did not select the systemsettings workaround module for the old Personal Settings (blank left side) when choosing from the KDE3 repo. Reason: Ilya had already fixed it in the KDE:/KDE3 repo. Everything worked, KDE3-wise, as well as I could determine. I have not tested out K3B yet, though. This past Sunday night I did a "Package > All Packages > Update if newer version available" update. I noted that it wanted to downgrade one package, which I accepted. All went well, and all seems to be working well. They only material issue I have seen, pre and post update, is Firefox4 was a bit flaky, rendering-wise. So I downgraded to 3.6.16 and it's better. This was before the FF4 Final patch came out. I'm still with 3.6.16. Also, in both FF3 and FF$, downloading embedded .pdf's links into the browser window is hit and miss; I have to hit refresh a few times for it to "take". Using Acroreader only (with its plugins, I guess). I have an Asrock A785GM-LE/128M board, Phenom II X2-550, 4 gigs DDR2, ATI4770 Samsung 213T.
