I guess for me building libreoffice from source is not an option, since I am not a programmer, and I don't have an idea how I could configure it for supporting KDE3.
Thanks,

Istvan,
You should be able to do it without any 'programming expertise' (I think it is
just a matter of getting L.O. built with the option so that the kde3 dialog
hooks are available and work. Basically it just requires googling the
information about the build requirements and build order (which packages get
built first and provide the deps for Package 2), there should be real good
information out there on doing it. It's basically just like following a cookbook
approach to whatever is needed and I think most all of that work is done
regarding the .src.rpm files needed and build order.
Good luck. Let us know if you run into any problems and I'll be happy to lend
a hand. I think the 'plane-jane-gtk'file open dialog just sucks with no useable
separate navigable file/folder tree view to navigate. We will also need to make
sure that this is getting attention at apache.issues.org so it can be included
with the Apache openoffice guys so that it is available for the 3.4 release with
the hooks already enabled or as a quick add-on.
