libSoQt20-1.5.0-1.pm.5.1.x86_64 obsoletes SoQt < 1.5.0 provided by SoQt-1.4.1-2.6.x86_64
[ ] Following actions will be done: do not install libSoQt20-1.5.0-1.pm.5.1.x86_64 do not install SoQt-devel-1.5.0-1.pm.5.1.x86_64 [ ] do not install SoQt-1.4.1-2.6.x86_64
I chose:
[x] Following actions will be done: do not install libSoQt20-1.5.0-1.pm.5.1.x86_64 do not install SoQt-devel-1.5.0-1.pm.5.1.x86_64
This is unrelated to your problem.
kdebase3-SuSE-11.3-8.1.x86_64 requires desktop-data-openSUSE-fixed, but this requirement cannot be provided uninstallable providers: desktop-data-openSUSE-11.4-13.3.1.noarch[K3] [ ] downgrade of desktop-data-openSUSE-11.4-13.16.1.noarch to desktop-data-openSUSE-11.4-13.3.1.noarch
You should choose this one. I included the fixed package desktop-data-openSUSE into KDE:KDE3 because it can take long for the patch to be accepted in 11.4 If you are confused with the word "downgrade" you can see that the versions of the packages are the same.
[ ] do not install kdebase3-SuSE-11.3-8.1.x86_64
[ ] break kdebase3-SuSE by ignoring some of its dependencies
I chose:
[x] do not install kdebase3-SuSE-11.3-8.1.x86_64
Your mistake. This package is essential for normal openSUSE desktop experience and includes menu data, file associations and other things. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+help@opensuse.org
