ISDN-Verbindung mit Fritz!Card DSL und SuSE 8.2
Hallo Ich habe mich wieder aufgemacht, mit SuSE 8.2 eine ISDN-Verbindung einzurichten. Nachdem das "askpassword"-Problem gelöst ist, kommt jetzt das nächste: er will einfach nicht verbinden, sondern legt nach 9 Sekunden wieder auf. Da ist die Rede davon, daß ein HiSax-Treiber weniger Probleme machen soll. Einen solchen kann ich aber nicht finden. Was kann ich zur weiteren Analyse tun? Das ist normal, es ist einfach ein Kanal frei (eventuell wird gerade Telefoniert).

Hier gibt es ein anderes Problem, das leider nicht aenderbar ist und scheinbar bei Mobilcom (freenet) oefters auftritt: Der Verbindungsaufbau dauert laenger als 8 sek (dieser Wert ist fest im I4L und nicht konfigurierbar). Deshalb legt I4L auf, fast im selben Moment kommt aber auch die Verbindung zu Stande, da I4L aber schon aufgeben hat, kennt I4L diese Verbindung auch nicht mehr.

Ich hab' ein wenig in der Mailingliste gelesen. Da ist die Rede davon, daß ein HiSax-Treiber weniger Probleme machen soll. Einen solchen kann ich aber nicht finden.
Den gibt es auch nicht fuer diese Karte und der wuerde in diesem Fall auch nichts aendern. Was Du versuchen kannst, eine Verbindung ueber den pppd mit capiplugin herzustellen, der sollte (eventuell) dieses Timeout Problem nicht haben. Erstelle dazu eine Datei: /etc/etc/ppp/peers/isdn/freenet mit folgendem Inhalt: debug sync user <Dein USER> plugin userpass.so password <Dein Passwort> defaultroute plugin capiplugin.so #controller 1 #numberprefix 0 number 0101901929 protocol hdlc /dev/null und rufe 'pppd call isdn/freenet' auf. -- Karsten Keil SuSE Labs ISDN development

Ich habe jetzt zwei andere Provider ausprobiert - und ich bin drin! Kann man den Timeout denn durch Neukompilieren des I4L ändern? Damit's auch mit Freenet klappt?
