nachdem ich auf Rat von Carsten in zurückliegenden threads mein original i4l-2002.3..... durch das von ftp.suse.de/pub/suse/i386/update/8.0/n1/i4l-2002.7.31-0.i386.rpm ersetzt habe, was auch fehlerfrei funzte, funzt dial-in nun noch weniger als vorher:
kernel: isdn_tty: call from 721830xxxx -> 24yyy ignored
(xxx und yyy vom mir gesetzt) Es wird nicht einmal mehr ein eingehender Ruf akzeptiert!! Bin ich mit dem original-rpm sogar mit REMOTE_IN="..." bis ipppd[...]: Could not determine remote IP address gekommen, so will das neue i4l-2002.7.31-0.i386.rpm nicht einmal Rufe entgegennehmen, wenn ich mittlerweile SECURE="off" geschaltet und die REMOTE_IN - Zeile gelöscht habe. Nach außen wählen kann ich, nicht aber dial-in.
Mein cfg-net1 sieht derzeit so aus (entspricht genau einem Erfolgs - dial-in -Meldung aus dem thread: "SuSE 8.0 und ISDN Dialin-Server - wie?":

Achja, für die Einwahl ist denke ich immer noch notwendig die pap-secrets mit baer * "******" 192.168.10.30 auszustatten , oder hat sich das mit Suse 8.0 geändert?

Muss den Anruf annehmen, wenn nicht ist das interface nicht angelegt oder ipppd nicht gestartet. (Nach Aenderung ist SuSEconfig --module isdn und ein Neustart der isdn network devices notwendig.)

192.168.10.30 ist nicht notwendig, da bei angegebener IP useifip als ipppd Option verwendet wird.

BTW: PC wurde heute morgen reboot'et. Es sind also alle devices frisch gestartet. Einrichtung von ippp1 und ippp0 nur mit (Konsolen-Yast, Suse 8.0).

Das sieht so aus als ob das Update nicht eingespielt ist oder SuSEconfig -module isdn seit dem update nicht aufgerufen wurde.

Auch das sieht nach nicht gelaufenen upgedateten SuSEconfig --module isdn aus. (da der user nicht stimmt und useifip fehlt, der user ist wahrscheinlich der aus dem ippp0, das war einer der Fehler die das Update behebt.

danke, das war's. Ich hatte das neue Konzept von Suse einfach noch nicht kapiert. Ich dachte immer der Eintrag in diese cfg-netX wird beim Neustart von isdn ausgelesen, aber Pustekuchen: ausgelesen wird wie immer das /etc/ppp/options.ippp1.XXXXX !! ALso muß das /etc/ppp/options.ippp1.XXXXX , das ich in die vorhergehende Mail schon gepostet hatte weil ich es zufällig vorher entdeckt aber noch nicht eingeordnet hatte , erst noch mit
SuSEconfig -module isdn
aus dem cfg-netX erzeugt werden.
