Ich stelle fest, daß STARTMODE="manual" für das Einwahl- Device nicht bei jedem PC (Suse 8.2, 2.4.26) zu dem gewünschten Ergebnis führt, daß das Device beim booten abgeschaltet ist. SUSE 9.3 Kein Faxempfangs -oder versandmail mehr!! wer kann helfen?

Hallo, habe hier ein kleines Problem, das ich unter Suse 9.3 keine Faxe die ich versende oder erhalte als Mail weitzergeleitet bekomme in meine Email als PDF. Packe noch ein paar Infos mit bei damit jemand vielleicht eine Idee hat wie ich dies Problem lösen kann. By the Way mich interessiert auch wie ihr eure Faxe versendet das klappt nämlich bei mir seit Suse 9.3 nicht mehr über den Kdeprintfax ? Anlagenanschluss(?) und secure dial-in funktioniert nicht

Ich habe hier ein Problem mit einem Kunden der vermutlich einen Anlagenanschluß hat. Es soll secure-ISDN-Einwahl realisiert werden. OHNE secure, also eine "#" vor REMOTE_IN="7211111111 721222222" und SECURE="off" in cfg-net1 funktioniert bestens, /var/log/messages zeigt auch meine Vorwahl+MSN (721 1111111) an, mit der ich mich einwähle. Schalte ich dann aber secure-ISDN-Einwahl scharf indem ich REMOTE_IN einkommentiere und SECURE="off" auskommentiere, (dann natürlich SuSEconfig --module isdn;ifdown ippp1;ifup ippp1), dann nimmt mir die Fritz-Karte 2.0 (Capi-Treiber) den Ruf NICHT an! "ignored" gibt /var/log/messages aus! Als eingehende Nummer wird immer noch die richtige, nämlich 0721 1111111 angezeigt. Kann es sein, daß isdnlog die richtige Nummer anzeigt, aber der D-Kanal durch die zwischengeschaltete ISDN-Anlage irgendeinen Nummern-Murx durchstellt, daß die ISDN- Karte als Datenruf eben nicht 0721 1111111 angezeigt bekommt, sondern eben etwas Anderes? Die MSN muß bei diesem Kunden übrigens mit 22 angegeben werden, da sitzt leider irgendsoeine Sch.... Anlage dazwischen. Ich habe ISDN-secure-Einwahl schon etwa 30Male erfolgreich realisiert, das hier ist mir noch nicht vorgekommen. danke schonmal Ekkard

Auf der 9.3 ist kshowmail nicht mehr dabei. Kennt Jemand eine Alternative, die nur die Absender und Betreffzeilen vom Server holt und mit der man unerwünschtes Zeug direkt auf dem Server löschen kann, ohne es zuvor downloaden zu müssen? Hallo Liste, ich habe mein System auf Suse 9.3 Prof upgedatet. Unter der 9.2 funktionierte der Versand und Empfang mit capisuite einwandfrei, nach dem Update leider nicht mehr. Ich kann zwar erfolgrich Faxe versenden (bekomme allerdings auch keine Mail) alllerdings weigert sich capisuite die Faxe unter der MSM XXXX99 anzunehmen. Kann mir da jemand weiterhefen ?? Hallo, ich hoffe, dass ich mit meiner Frage in dieser Liste richtig bin: Bisher bin ich mit meiner AVM BlueFritz! AP-DSL unter SuSE 9.1 über ISDN ins Internet gegangen. Seit einigen Tagen habe ich allerdings einen DSL-Anschluß und würde gern wissen, wie ich das Teil dazu bewegen kann, eine Verbindung unter DSL zu herzustellen. Ich habe versucht, unter YaST -> Netzwerkgeräte -> DSL eine Verbindung einzurichten - ohne Erfolg. Kann mir vielleicht jemand helfen? :-) Gruß Ingo

Unter Suse 9.1 lief schon keine der PCMCIA Karten auf meinem Acer291LCI, unter 9.2 auch nicht. "Früher" war das schon besser ...hmmm ... gibt es bei Suse keine Gelder mehr zum testen der Karten? Besser die Dinger verkaufen und die Fritz-USB-Karten mitschleppen? Oder liegt es an meine Notebook und dem ACPI & Co? Jedesmal der stundenlange Kampf! Beruflich nicht verwertbar, dann schlepp ich lieber eine Box mit mir rum und verkaufe auch nur diese an Kunden ... schade. danke schon mal für eventuelle Hinweise Ekkard
