How do people communicate with Jan?
His DNS looks sane and his postfix responds: host inai.de inai.de has address 88.198.85.195 inai.de has IPv6 address 2a01:4f8:10b:45d8::f5 netcat 2a01:4f8:10b:45d8::f5 25 220 a3.inai.de ESMTP Postfix netcat 88.198.85.195 25 220 a3.inai.de ESMTP Postfix Maybe you have some strange mail-server that expects an MX record and does not fallback to the A record?
