Hi everyone, I worked on preparing an upgrade of our Redmine installation on https://progress.opensuse.org. I plan to perform the migration in a week, on 2023-08-19. As the version jump is quite large, I will install a new instance and copy the data. This has been tested already, hence I don't expect any major issues, but I'll give it 1-2 hours of downtime for everything to be switched over. For the avid contributors, there is more to it: We are using lots of custom plugins, all of which I found to not having been maintained and not working out of the box with the latest Redmine version 5. Most of them I was able to patch, and the QE team at SUSE provided new licenses to update the few commercial plugins we use. Unfortunately there are two plugins which I could not figure out: https://github.com/jcppkkk/redmine_mail_reminder https://github.com/f0y/due_date_reminder These will be removed as part of the upgrade, and I might disable them a few days prior as a preparation.
