It often happens, usually once a day, that opening a bookmark to any particular forum (e.g. hardware, or applications) opens https://forums.opensuse.org/ instead. Is there something that can be done to prevent that nuisance from polluting browser and tab history?
I suspect you have a problem with your browser, not with opensuse infra :-D
Yeah, I've seen this a few times in the past, but never have been able to track down the cause.
I've stayed logged into the forums for months at a time as well, though I do usually hop on once a day to check in on things.
FWIW, I also tested what Felix wrote, logged in, then left it, and was logged out next time I went past that tab and clicked on something. (between 24 and 48 hours later I think).
I just lost hours of work on one of Bill_L's forum threads. While I was composing a difficult and complicated response, I was apparently logged out. It threw me to the login screen when I clicked submit, and all the work I did disappeared. https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/565917-New-install-won-t-boot -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science.
