The logs show long conversations, while the chat shows nothing or just a line or two. And some times, not the same lines, as if both were different chats.
Probably that is because the move away from Freenode is still not done and thus there _are_ indeed two different chats. Not sure where the ToDo-List is tracked, but it could include # a decision from board@o.o about where to move # reserve channels, copy configs, reconfigure bots # write+publish an article for news.o.o # maybe more?
