Morning,
Would these sessions be open to newer members of
the community such as myself?
"Intro" lectures like this sound like a great idea, with the option to go in-depth if someone finds a particular area of interest or has relevant skills.

Hi After reading the latest news on news.opensuse.org [1], I'm asking myself if we might schedule some workshops to gather a bit more attention? Topics that are currently in my mind are - of course - related to our infrastructure setups. Suggestion: * schedule 30min slots (maybe recurring) * coordinate with the real admins/ developers behind a service to be at least present during the workshop * use our meet.o.o instance * use the screen sharing feature to show either a presentation or the console on our machines * walk through our infrastructure hosts/services one by one (one service per workshop) This might help to gather some people's interest. Maybe this might even be a starting point for additional ideas (like wiki documentation or best-practices docs or training material). What do you think? If the feedback is positive, I volunteer to lead the first workshop - and leave the topic to you :-) We could also collect some topics in the openSUSE wiki (somewhere in the team space maybe?). Regards, Lars (whoisbackfornow)
