Hey Heroes.
This came up today, in the board meeting, and there were some questions
about A) Issues with Community Auth being handled by SUSE IT, B) If it
makes sense to seperate the Auth mechanisms for SUSE and openSUSE, C) if
it's even feasible, given available resources/community personnel
So I'm just sending this to open the discussion up a bit. I'm not an
Auth guy, and don't really know the technical aspects of these
questions, but I know there have been discussions about this in the
past, and I've had some private discussions with a few folks about
things, but I don't want to go running my mouth about things I don't
actually know anything about and claim to speak for the folks that would
actually be doing the work.
So I guess, more than anything else, do you folks have any thoughts on
any of the three points?
