[opensuse-gnome] Bugs from 10.2 that are still in 10.3
Hi, everyone, As part of our bug classification scheme [1], it would be useful to know if people have filed bugs for openSUSE 10.2 that are still present in 10.3. These obviously need to be fixed quickly :) So, did you file a bug for 10.2 and have you seen it happen also in 10.3? Please feel free to reply here or in the wiki. Hello Federico, here is one from me; I also put you on the CC-list for that bug: Bug 249380 - bad suggestion to format /home https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=249380 YaST2 partitioner will propose to format any existing /home-partition, although the original idea behind having a separate /home-partition as a default was to make installing a new version of SUSE easier and safer. The bug is marked as 'solved', solution 'WONTFIX', in spite of protests. Thanks for your time and great work. Christian Am Dienstag, den 25.09.2007, 17:56 -0500 schrieb Federico Mena Quintero:

Excellent, thanks for resurrecting those! I've been bitten by all of those three bugs in the past. The "wants to format /home" is particularly scary :) [Hmm, the "hard drive space in main-menu" should be pretty easy to fix; I'll take a stab at it.] Federico -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
Thanks for taking it on. I enjoy your blog BTW! :) Am Montag, den 01.10.2007, 11:52 -0500 schrieb Federico Mena Quintero:

Addendum: A similarly sloppy behavior shown by the partitioner here: Bug 328929 - Partitioner suggests to delete existing LVM-volumes during install https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=328929 Am Dienstag, den 25.09.2007, 17:56 -0500 schrieb Federico Mena Quintero:

Hello, here is another one that has been marked as 'solve later' for SLED 10 (one year ago) and hasn't been touched upon ever since - though duplicate bug-reports about it still come in: Bug 152846 - Hard drive free space in main-menu is wrong https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=152846 Am Dienstag, den 25.09.2007, 17:56 -0500 schrieb Federico Mena Quintero:
