[opensuse-gnome] Keyboard shortcuts for change locale
I installed RC2 using Greek during installation. As I wrote before, there was a half Greek, half English. I fixed it as follows: 1. I turned my system in English using yast. Logged out and in again. 2. I turned again my system in Greek using yast. Logged out and in again. 3. I had to add-change the system language from System Settings from User menu. Logged out and in again. Now everything was in Greek Please fix that. If it cannot be fixed like it was on 11.4, I propose to remove the option to choose language during installation and fix-write a script (like PCLinuxOS has) to choose the language after full installation. Changing language works fine on Fedora as I saw. Now, the reason of this mail is that after installation and everything was in Greek, I couldn't change the locale from English to Greek to write something on Libre Office. So I found that the Fedora guys had the same problem. They fixed that opening Gnome-Tweek-tool and choose Typing> Modifies-only input sources [1]. Not sure if this is correct way though. Stahis, This sounds very much like bug 804773. This resulted in an entry to the Release notes (the limitation is that it's not possible in GNOME 3.6 to use only modifier keys (shift, ctl, alt) to switch between locales. In order to do so, indeed, at the moment gnome-tweak-tool is the only way around (which is also what is documented in the release notes now, see http://svn.opensuse.org/svn/opensuse-doc/trunk/release-notes/opensuse/RELEAS... ) Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org
